GIVI proudly supported the “I’MPOSSIBLE” project, an initiative that brought together a passion for motorcycling and inclusion through the story of Davide, a 7-year-old boy affected by an extremely rare genetic condition, the only known case in Italy. His strength and enthusiasm for engines inspired a special journey, designed to allow him to experience his greatest passion as a true protagonist.
To make this dream come true, Davide took part in the Transitalia Marathon aboard the world’s first Ducati DesertX Rally Sidecar, designed and built by VFR Tech and Rustom with the technical collaboration of GIVI. This unique vehicle was engineered to ensure safety, stability and the opportunity to experience the adventure in a fully engaging way.
The sidecar was also equipped with GIVI’s Canyon line bags — a highly high-performance, water-resistant range designed for demanding off-road travel as well as long-distance journeys, ensuring reliability and practicality in all conditions.
Stage after stage — from Rimini to Jesi, then Foligno, Arezzo and finally Coriano — the sidecar accompanied Davide along a route filled with emotion. Together with Simone Ziglioli, who stood by his side throughout the entire journey, every kilometre became an opportunity for discovery, excitement and shared experience.
By supporting “I’MPOSSIBLE”, GIVI once again confirms its commitment to promoting initiatives that put people first, placing its expertise and know-how at the service of projects that celebrate the most authentic meaning of travel.
