Most of the North American motorcycle industry came together in Columbus, OH for the four days of the show, from September 21st to 24th. It has been the biggest edition of the AIMExpo to date, with almost 500 exhibitors and nearly all of the major manufacturers showing their motorcycles, scooters and ATVs on the floor of the Greater Columbus Convention Center.
GIVI USA, the American subsidiary of GIVI, was of course there in full force, displaying the latest products from the 2017/2018 range and meeting all the dealers and consumers who came to Columbus from every part of the Country to attend this unique show.
It was a special occasion for GIVI USA also because it was awarded the status of 5 Years Legacy Exhibitor by the show promoter: that is another achievement that goes nicely with the 20th Anniversary of the American branch, celebrated in 2016.
For the first 4 years the show was hosted by the city of Orlando, in Florida, but the promoters felt that Ohio would be a better location to attract the many dealers and riders who reside in the region. For the same reason the format will now change as follow: in 2018 the AIMExpo will be held in Las Vegas, catering to the West Coast crowd, just to come back to Columbus in 2019 for a second run in the Midwest.
