Do you remember the teenagers from the University of Brescia who set up a racing team and signed up for Motostudent? We first told you about it here (WEBLINK), well now the results are in!
Motostudent is a competition featuring motorcycles designed and created by Universities from all over the world. Every aspect of the individual prototypes is evaluated; from the industrial / economic project, to the design process, the greatest innovation, the behaviour of the prototypes whilst undergoing static and dynamic tests, right up to the actual race which is preceded by free trials which are officially timed.
The international circuit of Motorland in Aragón, the same world-famous circuit which hosts the MotoGP, has been the backdrop for these arduous trials, where the students from Brescia, on their first attempt, admirably displayed all their worth!
With the BRX 250 they faced the other 36 teams competing in the endothermic engine category and obtained remarkable results: In the static tests, UniBS achieved sixth place, a first for an Italian team, they achieved second place in the acceleration test and in the overall race, they accomplished fifth place.
GIVI is proud to have supported and followed the team from UniBS Motorsport, enabling them to work on this project with both profit and enthusiasm and we hope that all the members of the team will continue giving their best with a view to continually reaching better and more impressive results in both their academic and professional careers.
